Making the Storyboard

We have now started making our storyboard which we are now using as a basic plan to what visualise the types of shots we want to shoot and the order in which we want to shoot them in. This gives us a very good idea as to what we are going to do in terms of filming and we are going to frequently refer back to this when we are unsure of what to film or cannot decide what to film on the day.

We haven't included every single individual shot in the storyboard as this would take up a lot of time and wouldn't always be of much use to us and so we have just included general sections of particular lines in the lyrics and annotated them with where we want the band to come in. This makes sense to us as it gives us an idea of what we need to shoot on location but is versatile enough for us to use or not use depending on what actually happens.

To go one step further with our storyboard. we will scan every single image into a scanner and edit them in Photoshop, so that each individual shot is a separate image. We will then put them into Adobe Premier Pro and match up each shot to the corresponding part of the song in order so we have a visual representation of how we want our video to look at it's most basic form. This could prove to become extremely useful in working out how well our timings will be when it comes to actual filming.
