When thinking about what editing techniques we can do for our club scene to correctly present this part of the narrative and the emotions of the character, we came up with a few ideas.
The club scene is meant to show him being tempted to relapse whilst being drunk and in a vulnerable state, we thought that it would be interesting if we could create a sound effect to show the chaos in his mind and vulnerability of him at this moment in time. We weren't really too sure how to go about doing this but we got some help from one of our teachers and Annabelle managed to make a really good short section that helps communicate the unstable situation he is in.

We created a constant beep sound using Premiere pro, then to change how loud it would be at certain points in the scene we used key points, making the beep audio gain and decrease in volume. We then took the section of the song which would be in this scene and put it into Adobe Soundbooth. Using this programme we could drag the song out to make it slower and alter the way it sounds so it sounded un-naturalistic and almost demonic. We then inserted both of these audios into the section of club scene, using fades to transition from the regular music to the edited music. To match the weary tone of the music and narrative we put all the clips into slow motion.
